Trip to Cali

In June Aunt Shirley, Sydney, Mom, and I decided to take a mini vacation to San Francisco. We didn't tell Sydney until the day of and we tried to get creative by telling her on a T-shirt that mom and I made. She was obviously shocked!!

Once we arrived Sydney was quite the photographer in the back seat!

Our first site seeing spot was the Golden Gate Bridge.

Next stop: Lombard Street. It was 5mph...a true challenge for a driver like me!
Only one bummer the whole trip... we didn't get to ride a trolley. I guess we'll just have to come back to do that :)
Next stop was Pier 39. The seals were hilarious.
To make sure we got to see as much as possible we decided to take bus tour. Me and Sydney sat on top while mom and Aunt Shirley rested comfortably and warm below.
This is where the "Godfather" was written.

Union Station

We obviously weren't thinking straight--we rode on the top of the bus across the Golden Gate Bridge...IT WAS FREEZING!!!
After the bus tour we walked along the pier took it all in.

We visited "Wine Country" to look for potential wedding sites. The first stop was Storybook Vineyard. The Redwood Grove was incredible!

We visited Healdsburg Vineyard that would be the perfect backdrop for any wedding.

This is where the ceremony would take place.

And the reception would be here.
This is where the bridal party gets ready :)

We then traveled to Vintner's Inn

The site for the ceremony

This the St. Francis Vineyard.

This vineyard mimiced a Louisianna setting

This is B.R. Cohn Vineyard. The reception area is surrounded by gorgeous Olive Trees!

This is one of our favorite Vineyards: Nicholson Ranch.
